Identity
In Oculis is a self-employed company registered at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 80335578. VAT is not applicable to it in compliance with the Dutch small-business scheme (KOR).
When hiring me for a project you accept the following guidelines without reserve.
Rights & credits
All content I create (photos, videos, recordings) belong to me, and you pay for the right to use it. Therefore I can freely share my work in my portfolios and socials to advertise my services – unless explicitly agreed prior to the project and by writing, in special cases such as boudoir photos etc. Your photos will never be used in commercial advertisement or sold to a third party without your explicit, written permission. My photos will always bear a discreet watermark.
My name, branding, designs, cannot be reproduced.
I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at any time including cancellation (see below).
In case you share any of my work, always credit me for it using my company’s name or my full name. I will appreciate it if you tag me on social medias. When sharing photos I made for you, PLEASE do not alter them with filters, as they would no longer reflect my vision nor the hard work I put in it. If a photo does not meet your expectations, ask me to change it for you instead. Respect the artist’s work !
Quotations
You may require an estimation of the cost for a project from me. Quotations are not contracts, and the final invoice may show differences. Any work added on top of what was agreed will be charged additionally. Make sure that every detail, wish and requirement have been discussed first in order to avoid unpleasant surprises.
Cancellations & refunds
If there is an issue with the work I deliver, contact me and I will gladly discuss a solution with you.
Deadlines for delivering a work must be discussed and agreed beforehand ; I decline any responsibilities for late delivery in case of unplanned deadline that may come up after the start of a project.
Cancellations on the day of a recording or a photoshoot may lead to charges, including travels costs that may already have been paid for.
Full refund for a work that has already been done is not possible.
If I must cancel my participation to a project due to force majeure, I will do my best to find a replacement so that your project can move on.
Damages
In case you are responsible for equipment damage during a project, you will be held accountable for any repair/replacement costs. Please do not help me pack or unpack my gear, do not move microphones or cameras for me. I understand that you would like to help and I appreciate your kindness, but it is best to not touch anything !
